Safer streets and a real say in local decisions.
As Youth Project Officer and the Mathare lead, I ran youth-led work to make the neighbourhood safer, open up economic opportunity, and get young people involved in how the area is governed. The programme ran across Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe, with Mathare as one of its anchor sites.
